3rd BIENNIAL
HEART VALVE BIOLOGY
AND
TISSUE ENGINEERING
Working Group on Tissue Engineering and Molecular
Biology of The Society For Heart Valve Disease
Following the previous meetings in Florence and Hilton Head, the 3rd Biennial Meeting will focus on recent advances in valve biology and the development of tissue engineered heart valve replacements. The programme has been designed to reflect the diversity of challenges faced by biologists, bioengineers, material scientists, clinicians and regulators and the multidisciplinary approach that is required for successful tissue engineering of heart valves. The purpose is to provide a forum for presentation and discussion of cutting edge technology and recent advances in this field. Target Audience: Scientists, engineers, clinicians, mathematical modellers and representatives from pharmaceutical, cardiac device and venture capitalist companies. Topics: Valve Cells
